Counselling
We provide
free counselling for young people in a confidential non-judgemental setting. Counselling is not about giving advice but providing a safe space in which to tell your story and be listened to. An important part of counselling is establishing a relationship with your counsellor who will help you look beyond presenting problems at the possible underlying causes.
We can offer weekly sessions where you can talk to your counsellor to reflect what is on your mind. The hope is, that as you get to know your counsellor, you will find appropriate ways of coping with difficulties to help you make positive changes where necessary.
All our counsellors are fully qualified and members of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists
(BACP) and work within their ethical framework for good practice.
