Family Mediation
How can it help?
Family mediation is used to help children, young people and their families experiencing problems in their relationships. Through facilitiating open communication between each and all family members it works to help resolve problems and issues within the family before they escalate.
In family mediation we may see a small group or the whole extended family. We encourage each family member to have a voice, and help them work towards resolving their differences together, meeting in a neutral environment outside of the family home.
All our counsellors are members of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and work within their ethical framework for good practice.
What to do next?
Contact us on 01206 710771 to book an initial assessment appointment with Maria Hales our counselling co-ordinator. At this meeting you will have an opportunity to talk through the issues you are facing and we will then book you in for counselling if you wish to proceed.
