Young Parents' groups

Young Parents' Groups and Parents to be groups are specifically for young parents up to the age of 21.  They are run by Fiona Gooch, Y.E.S Teenage Pregnancy Linkworker and   Ormiston Children's Centres every week throughout the year across Colchester.

Expectant parents, young parents and their babies or toddlers up to the age of 3 years old welcome to drop in for a chat, coffee and a chance to meet other young parents .  Links to other services, parenting support, advice in education & help and information

Monday:    9 Trinity Street, Colchester, CO1 1JN
                 10.30am  to 12.30pm

Tuesday:  Greenstead Children's Centre, Hawthorn Ave, Greenstead CO4 3QE 
                1pm to 3pm

Friday:     The Ark Children's Centre Highwoods
                 10.30 to 12pm


All the Young Parents' Groups are drop-ins.

At Trinity Street we also run:
Baby Group ( under 1's) 
Group for parents of babies aged 0-12 months to come along, meet other young parents and their babies, take part in activities and get advice, information and support on all aspects of parenthood.  For more information call Becky Parker on 01206331118
 
Baby Massage
Tuesday 11.00am to 12noon.  This course is offered on a regular basis.  Booking is essential.  To book a place contact Fiona Gooch or the St Anne's and Castle Children's Centre (01206865555)

* The H.I.P course (Health in Pregnancy) - supporting young parents to be in staying healthy throughout their pregnancy and preparing   for parenting.

* 20/20 Parentcraft Day - for parents to be who are 20 years old and are 20 weeks+ pregnant.
